Community Library
Not your typical library — ours is run entirely by community volunteers who love books as much as you do. Kids, teens, fiction, non-fiction, and a little local history, with new titles arriving all year. Requests always welcome.
Community Garden
A beloved corner of the Community Centre grounds: 35 raised beds in a sunny fenced plot, and a community of gardeners who love to grow things together. Beds are available to rent for the season for a nominal fee.

Community Garden
A sunny, fenced plot with 35 raised beds available to rent for the season. Grow your own vegetables, meet your neighbours, and put down a few roots in Milford Bay. Beds go fast, add your name to the list.

Community Library
More than a library — it's a gathering place. Staffed entirely by volunteers, our lending library carries kids', teen, adult fiction, non-fiction, and local history titles, with new books arriving year round. Drop in for Euchre nights, Story Time for the little ones, or Knitting Club in the winter. Requests always welcome, and so are new volunteers.
The library is typically open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday; hours vary throughout the year. Please refer to our events page for current schedule.

Book the Community Centre
The Milford Bay Community Centre is available for community bookings year-round. Whether you are hosting a birthday celebration, a family reunion, a fundraiser, a club meeting, or a Celebration of Life, the hall is here for you. All bookings are on a first come, first served basis and are managed through the Township of Muskoka Lakes.
01. Check Availability
Before submitting a booking request, check that your date and time are available using the Township of Muskoka Lakes facility calendar. Filter by Milford Bay Community Center to see what is already booked
02. Submit a Rental Inquiry
Once you have confirmed your date is available, submit a rental inquiry through the township's online form. Someone will be in touch to confirm your booking and arrange payment.
Please note: Rates in PDF are as published by the Township of Muskoka Lakes in January 2026. Rates are subject to change. Please confirm current pricing directly with the Township before submitting your booking.
